The Madame Victor Verdier is a very fragrant cherry-red Remontant rose and was created by the Paris breeder Louis-Eugéne-Jules Verdier, son of Victor Verdier. The Verdiers created 222 different hybrids. Madame Victor Verdier was first offered in 1863 and is still available today.
