In southern Wyoming, near the town of Green River, the Twin Tunnels is located on Interstate 80. Green River, Wyoming is the northern gateway, via Hwy 530, to the beautiful Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area.

Artfully posed on the outcroppings of Minerva Terrace is Lt. James A. Moss from Fort Missoula with a company of the 25th Infantry U.S. Army Bicycle Corps. The group stopped here during its 800-mile ride through the park. Minerva Terrace is centrally located in the Lower Terrace area of Mammoth Hot Springs.

Morning Glory has been described as a "cerulean jewel set in the earth" and a "diaphanous cupful of limpid sky." The vivid color of the pool has made it one of the most popular of Yellowstone's hot springs with visitors. Sadly, vandalism has diminished some of its former vibrant color as debris that people have thrown in the pool decreases water temperature.
